Dislikes:
Chamber Vacuum is very heavy and takes up a lot of counter space.
It has a hinged top opening lid so that can be problem potentially if under a low cabinet.
It is expensive
It is utilizes oil so it has to be checked in a bullseye sightless.

Since it draws vacuum on a chamber, it will seal bags of liquids like soup.
Soups, stews, chicken spaghetti, chopped BBQ meat, chili, beans, etc are our go-to "fast foods" from the freezer living out in the country. Drop the bag in a pot of boiling water and let it heat up.
We very seldom eat fast food.
Bags are cheap, that's a huge plus. I buy various sizes in bulk online-you don't have to make your own out of a roll so it's quick and easy.
Easily seals glass jars-we dry and save our own herbs like basil.
Double seals each bag so bag seal failures aren't a worry.
Chamber is much simpler and easier to clean than a Food Saver but we almost never have to clean it unless I spill something into it.
I had a food saver type from Bass Pro , a Silver model, that was heavy duty and lasted a long time. We literally wore it out putting up our own vegetables and fish.
I knew we would use the Chamber Vac almost daily-it's a Cadillac compared to the Food Saver style.
With as much deer and fish as you preserve, I would strongly consider getting a chamber vac and a selection of the bags.
