I have always used Weather Underground in the past but it has become useless. I loved that I could find someone's local Weather station and see what actual current conditions were on the ground before heading out to hunt. It also used to have Weather cams which I really liked.
Now it seems that "current conditions" on most sites are just based on the predictions and not actually measured.
Found this out the hard way when I loaded up to go duck hunting yesterday morning. All sites indicated 10mph wind. Arrived to the lake at 5AM to find 20+ and had to abort mission.
Is there still anything out there that will give actual local conditions on a micro level?
This is a prime example of when theory and practice diverge...
