To decide what's best you need to determine the type of night hunter you are. Do you need a light that can run all night or just one that will give you a few solid hours after sun down?

If the latter is what you are looking for, get a couple cheap solar powered pathway lights at Lowes or Home depot and attach them to your feeder. You can tape or paint the lens greenh or red but in my experience, they get used to the white light pretty quickly

If you want something that will last longer into the night, look at something like the moonshine or kill light

Seriously any kind of light that is solar works. I have driveway greens around my feeders and they work really well and don't slow the pigs a bit.

Check out the lights made by Kevin Ryer at texasboars.com

His lights are not cheap, but use quality components and are very well made. I bought some of his lights years ago and have been very pleased with them. The technology has improved significantly since I bought lights from him, but I will do business with him again in the future.

PS His forums use to have a lot of traffic with some awesome guys on there regularly. Use to get some great tips from guys like Bill Wilson that really accelerated my knowledge of hog hunting.

I second this. I bought two of them three years ago. Replaced one recently. They work great.

I bought the motion detector light at Sam's. Put it on a post by the feeder. Lights it up pretty good. I can look out my window and see when hogs are there and take care of them.

Check out all seasons feeders lights. I was an elusive customer but their lights are cheap and some don't hold up. Asf lights are made much better and are brighter. Been happy with them

We have used these for years and they've performed well.

Here are the driveway solar lights at about 120 yards.

No reason to buy expensive lights unless you just want to. They last pretty much all night.

I asked my buddy this question and he said this is what he has at his place. They seem to work well.
