How long do you want to ignore this user?
I've got the itch for a new pew pew and I want a new handgun. I've always been a Glock guy, I've owned multiple over the years and have ended up selling just about every one of them, so I want to explore something new.

I was not a fan of the P320 when they were initially released, but the longer they have been on the market, the more aftermarket support they've gained, the more I've started to look at them as a potential option.

I would want it as a good do-all type of handgun, something to put in the bedside drawer, something to take to the range, and something potentially to compete with when I'm not wanting to shoot PCC (flame away) or my well-loved 2011. That's where the P320 has some perceived advantages with the modularity. I could buy a base gun, then add a larger/heavier frame for comps, a smaller frame and slide for home defense, etc.

I love the idea of buying an RXP Compact and using that as a base gun. Then maybe adding the Parker Mountain Machine comp and a full-size frame to build a poor man's Stacatto XC for steel matches.

Does anyone have any experience with one, reasons to stay away, other suggestions? I've got some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket already.

You can shoot PCC with a 320, too.

I like mine okay. They dont blow my socks off but they work.

I've owned a full size P320 for a couple of years and love it. The only modifications I've made is adding fiber optic sights and switching out the grip to better fit my huge hands. It shoots great and I've never had any issues. I will say there is more aftermarket items for the compact and carry versions than there are for the full size, and have been considering picking up the rx version you're looking at.

I have the X-5 full and really like it. Pretty accurate out of the box.

The Wilson 320s are pretty slick. For the money have you considered the VP9 from HK, because it's a HK.

I've picked one up every time I've gone to buy a new pistol, but I can't get past the paddle mag release. I heard a rumor they used to make a traditional button mag release version, but I could never seem to find one.

Now you're just adding to the list of things I'll have to buy for it along with this -

Good to know. What trigger does yours have, the standard or the X? How do you like the trigger, and have you done anything to it?

Interesting timing on this thread, I've been looking at possibly buying a full size 9mm. Want something good for range/target shooting, almost like it's going to be a competition gun but I don't plan on shooting comps with it. Probably outfit it with a red dot, maybe suppressor down the road, etc.

Was looking at the P320, VP9, and Walter PPQ Q5 for the most part. Curious to see feedback on the P320 (and any others if people have them).

I'm going to add CZ P-10. Seen some good proces on them this week. How does their Striker fire stack up to the mainstream boys?

I've had my eye on the P10 as well. I just haven't put a lot of time into really digging into that platform, but it may be worth a look. I've heard a lot of good things about their optic mounting system, it is supposed to be significantly better than the Glock MOS system.

I have sig 320 legion xcarry that shoots awesome, the only problem is even after swapping recoil springs and working with DPM I still can get it to cycle suppressed. It appears entry is a known problem with any suppression running a neilson device. But since your wanting to just run a comp you should be good to go.

Interesting. Is that a known issue with all P320s running suppressed?

As far as i know just the legion X-carry, DPM cant figure it out and is sending me a custom spring after i have tried several of the systems they have. Sig doesn't want to do anything as they said they only guarantee it will work with a sig suppressor.

Good to know. It currently planning to put a can on it, but that may be something to keep in mind for the future.

Don't have anything to add but getting a similar itch for a pew pew. Needing a full size, striker fired 9mm. Looking at both the 320 and M&P. Will likely end up buying both as that is the normal answer. Now that the M&Ps will be getting flat faced triggers on some of the models, it will likely get the edge this go around.

SiCo Octane 45, it most definitely is heavy.

I like the recent addition of the flat-faced trigger. I've just never liked the way an M&P fits in my hand, it has never felt right. I've tried several from friends or as a range rental before a purchase, and I could never get past the way it feels in my hand.

But why would you give the M&P the edge with the addition of the flat-faced trigger? The P320 is available with one as well. Just curious of your thoughts?

Does the Legion XCarry also have a bull barrel like the X5 Legion or is it normal profile?

It has the stock trigger. I like it but will probably upgrade it eventually

I have a Sig P320C that I am willing to get rid of. I just don't carry it anymore. It's a great gun but I'm definitely not attached to it. It was my EDC for a few months, now it sits in the safe.

4.3" factory threaded barrel
Tritium front & rear
Two 15-round mags
Original hard case
I'm the original owner and it has total of 70 rounds through it. 50 FMJ and 20 hollow points.
If you're a lefty I'll even throw in a Texas themed kydex OWB holster.

I was going to sell this to a buddy locally but he finally decided he didn't want it because of the threaded barrel.

I talked to EyeGuy about this pistol and he gave me a ballpark price to ask.

I run a p320RX compact. I am also interested in the comp, but haven't seen any in stock in a year. Armorycraft's comp is supposed to work well. I have no first hand experience with it. I added a gray guns trigger, but the rest of my gun is stock. It works well.

p320 legion xcarry with Romeo red dot. 15,17, 21 rd mags.

I juse the full size grip for fun and the compact for carry.

I have one of each size of the Wilson versions and two Sigs.

Good guns. You won't regret ordering a Wilson anything if you want to pay the upcharge.

I have a P-10c and a P-10F optics ready (it was actually probably the first OR p-10 in the Houston area, but I had to wait until CZC had plates to mount the red dot). The p-10c grip is slightly longer than a G19. Both of my guns have the HBI trigger kit, which makes them much nicer IMO. While I thought I'd probably replace my G19 with the C, not so sure now. I may just go back to the G19.

I shot my F in USPSA carry optics for 6 months. It worked well, though I did find that I couldn't reliably run the grams followers with the extended base pad that are typical in the division. Before carry optics I was shooting production with a Shadow 2. After I shot CO for 6 months I went back to production. I still have the gun, just not enough time to make 9mm for stuff right now.

The M&P feels good in my hand and like the additional trigger safety that it offers. The only thing keeping me from purchasing a M&P in the past was the hinged trigger.

I have a P226 MK25, so looking for something different. Will ultimately get a P320.

However, got the chance to handle the new M&P 10MM today. Really liked it and if it had the 4.6" barrel, it would have left with me.

Yes, fully understand that, but a lot of those issues have been remedied by SIG, I'm not too concerned over that issue anymore.

These popped up on my Youtube today. Thought it was relevant to the thread. I am a Sig guy through and through and have been for a while. My go to is a Zev 320 XCarry. My Glock's are now safe queens or truck guns. I just personally shoot better with the Sigs and feel they are a better designed gun. Everyone should watch these videos regardless, some good shooting instruction in them.

I have several 320s and I have been very happy. There is guy in Plano Robert the Sig Armorer. Easy to find if you just search his name. His trigger job will turn the 320 trigger into very close to a 2011 type trigger. It's not cheap but will turn it into a different gun. I have a full size with red dot, upgraded trigger, and tungsten infused grip frame that shoots better than my Shadow 2.
