I shoot a single pin sliding sight on my bow. I love the field of view with the single pin, but sometimes I wish I had a fixed setup in case I didn't have time to slide to the appropriate yardage.
Today I came up w the idea to add "pins" below the actual fiber optic in the sight post (I doubt this idea is original).
Took a little piece of post it and marked down where 20, 30, and 40 yards were on my tape. Then lined the 20 mark on post it to pin, and put a little dot of acrylic paint on the post. Now when my sight is rolled all the way up to 20, I can still shoot out to 40 without having to guess holdover.
The paint I used… used toothpick trimmed to desired diameter to apply dots. Originally tried same color as pin but you couldn't see it. Painted w/ white and then added a dot of natural glow when the white was dry.

Finished product… 40 yd dot is a little off center but it's ok. May try to scrape some of the paint off right edge

2 @ 30, 2 @ 40

With the glow… I think I'd have to "charge" the glow paint w a flashlight if hunting in a blind, but still decently bright

Also, this extends my total range. My fletchings hit the bottom of my sight housing at 80 yards. Now that bottom dot gets me out to 95 or so
