Anyone seen any of this? Looking for it for a friend. They've not found it anywhere online.

I have only seen regular 270s once in the past year. keep waiting on some hunting rounds to hit the market but its nothing but 223 and 308........sadly I dont think manufactures care about hunters anymore.

thanks - actually 270 is the only round I have multiple boxes of......mix up on Xmas a few years ago led to me getting 2 boxes from several family members. Typically just keep 2 boxes of each caliber but now if i see something I shoot I grab it.........to date(in the past year) I have scored 2 boxes of 6.5 for me and 2 boxes of 22-250 for my bro-n-law.

just saw Academy in CS had 270 and 243 ammo. Shelves looked pretty full around noon.

Manufacturers care about what rounds sell the most so they can make money, as they should.

I haven't seen 6mm Remington in over a year. Of any sort. Its never even on ammoseek. Fortunately I have enough handloads to hunt for a few more years, but I wish I could find some core lokts to shoot pigs with.

I need 270 wsm as well if anyone comes across any.

I've been using the Hornady 145s.

I've been looking for 270 WIN. Saw 270 WSM once at bass pro in Shv.

It's impossible to find. It's been my go to round for 10+ years, but realizing that Covid may have been the end of it. No one is producing it right now.

I found some on Gunbroker. It shows up regularly in the 100 gr. Core-Lokt, but the Unicorn is the 120 gr., which Is what I shoot. It is harder to find, but I was able to procure some. One small group was high, the other was a bid I watched that was set for college football Saturday first kick-offs and snuck that one cheaper than what it cost at the store when it was available.

Like the other poster said about 6mm Remington, it is unbelievable what that goes for if available. People are "buying now" at $100/box or more for 100 gr Core- Lokt. I called Remington (yes, they have been bought and are back in business and production), and was told they made some in 2019 and it will be produced again, but no schedule available. When I told the person I spoke with what people were paying I thought she dropped the phone at first from shock.

I haven't seen .280 Rem in at least 2 years. I finally gave up and bought a .308

Don't pay gunbroker prices for generic ammo. Hendershots. High quality custom ammo to your door in 3-5 weeks.

This is why I am getting into reloading. Now if I could just find some primers. lol

Well, since my 25-06 puts 4 of 5 under a nickel, with the 5th half covered by the same coin, I'll keep after the 120 gr Core-Lokt. I am sure Henderson's may be an option for the 6mm though.

Not .270 WSM, but I found .270 core lokts 130 grain at Los Cazadores. It hurt pretty bad but I paid $75 for a box because that's the only place I've seen it in a long time. My brother has been looking for 25-06 for a while. No luck.

Jeez nobody should ever pay $75/box for '06 based cartridges. That's like dies, projectiles, 100 primers and a pound of powder, even at today's prices
