Gloves, shoulder pad (yes even with a 20ga), and layers you can easily swap. It was chilly early AM and late evening when we were there in April. Much like here right now. Enjoy!

Get your tickets now. I assume you are going thru Cordoba. The only route available now is thru BA. You can theoretically fly thru Santiago, but switching carriers triggers a mandatory COVID test which will disrupt your connection to Cordoba.

As of now you have to have a negative Pcr test coming and going 72 hours before each flight
So make sure your outfitter has a place to help you get a pcr leaving Argentina
Not sure if things will change between now and then
My understanding also is if you are not vaccinated you are also required to get a covid test at the airport when arriving and on the 7th day of being here another test

David Denies is a very good outfitter. I've shot with them at their Pica Zuro lodge three times.

Sierra Brava is a great lodge for a first trip. Give " the detail company" a call if you want to work w a travel-agent w a lot of experience planning high end hunts all across South America. They book w dozens of lodges and could give you a lot of specific details on many properties. SB lodge was just a specific lodge I've been to and had a great experience.

I would inquire if they have "no seeing ums". I got into them in Bolivia and they are ten times worse than chiggers

We went a few years back with FlyWays. Great trip and great memories.

I've never even looked into one of these but I'm curious, what's an all-in budget, hookers excluded, for a trip like this?
