I have this one. This whirlybird feather attachment is nails during daytime hunting. It's apparently bilingual as it's called in coyotes and bobcats in the US & Mexico.

Young, and never before called coyotes - Any and all of them will work.

Old yotes that have been called a bunch - none of them will work.

Those old yotes live near bad shooters

FoxPro works well if coyotes are educated or not, it's more about the volume, duration and choice of sound used. I tend to have a lot better luck with educated coyotes using coyote sounds or mouth calls. I tend to think that's because any coyote that has ever been called before has most likely heard something the same or similar to Baybee cottontail, Lighting Jack or Lucky bird.

30+ years ago I worked on an 18000k ranch outside of Crowell. I bought a Burnhm Brothers game caller that used cassettes. Paid for itself the first night. Shot allot of bobcat using that set up and made some good mad money!

I've been using a Foxpro for about 8 years. Very durable. Never had any issues with operation, always works like a charm. I agree with my fellow posters, old dogs that have heard a lot will not respond. Personally, I think that Johnny Stewart sounds are better than Foxpro sounds, some may not agree with that but that's ok. Just remember--coyotes are just like crappie. You can offer it to them all day long but they are still the ones that have to decide to bite or not.

Had cousins who used to tie rabbits to a tree. I always felt bad as a kid and never went with them, but it apparently works really well. Rabbits can be loud.

Works really well when you hide it near the camp/house w 18 teenage boys and girls- they all stay really close to the campfire.

I've gone down some lengthy rabbit holes on YouTube watching guys call and shoot coyotes at night with thermal rigs.
