Dog got ahold of the welding gloves I'd been wearing for the last decade. Amazon pulls up about a million options. Before I waste an evening reading reviews on a $20 purchase only to have second thoughts...any easy winners?

ETA: The biggest use is removing racks/stones from the BGE when moving from searing to indirect, or when adding coal during a smoke...so picking up 600*+ objects.

Welding gloves are a great choice. I bought the Hardcore Carnivore gloves last time I needed a replacement. I got them specifically because Jess Pryles is hot and I like her seasonings. They actually could be better and I don't necessarily recommend them, but she's still hot.

I like these.

Resistant up to about 450, and easy to clean.

It takes a special kind of brainwashed useful idiot to politically defend government fraud, waste, and abuse.

I have some like these. The ones with a cotton lining sound horrible. Mine don't have a lining so I throw them directly in the dishwasher and that would be gross with a lining.

Northern Tool has welding gloves for $7.99. They work great for grilling over a grill or campfire.

I had a pair like this and thought they were hard to clean. The rubber was sticky as hell and food stuck in the little nubs and was a pain to get out. I tend to prefer the smooth pvc type with a thin cotton liner like these...

Just do it more often, and eventually you won't need gloves...

Yeah, you can't throw them in the dishwasher. But, the material they are made of makes them easy to clean. Grease doesn't like to stick to the material, at all. You just add some soap while you are wearing them and wash them like you are washing your hands. Easy cleanup.

My wife bought them for me for anniversary, and chose them because the pattern is heart print. But, I've been impressed with them. They are one size, and fit me fine.
