I have these green worms all over my yard which I have learned are called beet armyworms, and I have read can cause a lot of damage by eating your grass. Other than setting my whole yard on fire, what's the best way to kill them?

How many bottles of that did you need for one acre?

Yes. But a product with bifenthrin will work effectively, too, and is relatively inexpensive and easy to find at any Lowe's, Home Depot, or ACE.
That spray stuff works really well. But, I use granules on a regular schedule.

I wouldn't put a spoonful of the stuff in my coffee. But on the yard, it's fine.
ETA: If she's worried, use the granules one evening and turn the sprinklers on. It'll be fine in the morning.
