Google search tells me either it's no big deal or it's a MAJOR deal. I figure the truth is somewhere in the middle. Anyway, 80lb lab ate a quarter lime wedge. Hard to tell if he's acting normal because he's also got carpofen and gabapentin in him for a foot injury he got. He's eaten all kinds of crap before, but based on the Google search just want to be safe.

No idea. I have never seen a lime intoxication in a dog. So i googled. It appears that your dog would have to have eaten a lot. As in a crapload(we'll address that later) to cause significant harm. I doubt 1/4 of a lime is going to cause problems. Symptoms are vomiting, diarrhea(see previous comment about crapload) and light sensitivity. If its been less than 30 minutes you can try giving it some hydrogen peroxide orally to make him vomit it up.
Labs eat all kids of weird stuff and most of them survive.

Second on tequila. One for the dog, one for you and one for the road. Serious notenot enough to even weigh in. One for the dog, one for you and one for the road. Don't go on the road.

He won't have scurvy.

And when I saw the title, my first thought was elemental lime, such as what you'd spread on a field. I was going to say his pH would rise.

Kids? Really? Now I don't want a lab.
