HEB definitely. Also, Buccees used to carry 40 lb bags, not 50 lb bags.

The one in Denton has 50# bags and we don't have an HEB

It looks like the local feed store has it for $.20 less, which is not much but I don't have to load it.

I just refilled a month ago, so I'm looking at 6-8 months from now. I'm betting it's over $20 for double down by then.

I have been paying over 9 per bag on corn for 5 to 6 months. 20% protein is 11 to 13. This is in Bryan. Going through 450 lbs per week. Just have one protein feeder thank goodness.

200 lbs a day here! That's between our 2 feeders but they're each 3,000 lb feeders and we're refilling them each once a month. Fun stuff!

Not at all. I know people going through 30,000 lbs a month near us. We'd do alot more if we could afford it but hoping every little bit helps. It really only gets this hot and heavy June-August then we switch to corn but our herd has increased average harvested body weight by 10-15% and we've killed 2 of the 3 biggest bucks on the property ever in the past 3 years so it inspires us to keep pushing forward!

Katy bucces is 9.29/bag for 50lbs. Used to hover between $4-$6 a bag at max before dementia joe took over. I almost fell over when i saw the price last week.

We quit feeding corn once the high temps get to 85 degrees. Bad on whitetails to feed corn during hot months and hurts more than helps. They don't need carbs when it's 90+.
Behrens in Harper had it bulk for $15.90 per 100.

I'm trying to manage a small herd, I barely get any bucks to my feeders and the ones I do are really young, but I'm hoping that in the fall the bucks roam a bit more to our place. This is my best guy so far this year, but I've got a couple mommas im trying to make sure have enough food too. So my 1250 feeder has lasted a long time

"Small herd" has multiple meanings I see.

I wouldn't worry. So much to eat right now I'm not seeing hardly any deer myself, which is very unusual this time of year.

Honestly the most deer I've seen in the plot area would be 5 doe and 2-3 fawns they bring in. I've never seen any group of bucks run through there. I just have to get real lucky to see one during hunting season

That's how most of my spots in Lexington are. Lots of does and bucks cruising through during the rut. Year round, maybe only 5-7 bucks that stay consistent. Crazy
