I use the electric traps in my farm building. Work great for mice. Don't have rats though.

Bucket is half full of water. Yes, they drown. We've opened the lid many times and had as many as 15-20 inside after just a couple days.agent-maroon said:
You have some water in the bucket to drown them, correct? Interesting that Amazon didn't really discuss "disposal" of the mice/rats from this trap. Or are they promoting it as a live trap?

We had a new guy who got some hazing - the guys told him to empty the "water bucket" not telling him it had been almost a week and sitting in 100 deg temperatures. I heard he blew his lunch everywhere.aggieforester05 said:Old RV Ag said:Bucket is half full of water. Yes, they drown. This cleaned out our hay barn. It's cheap too!
I have one of these in my barn. I've caught mice in it with no bait. I left one in my cabin in Colorado with no bait while we were gone and a month later we knew something was wrong when we opened the front door.S.A. Aggie said:
