24' Trail Master gooseneck trailer
- 2011 model (I think), bought new
- canvas top
- tandem axle
- maybe 2 dozen loaded hauls
- good condition

I've searched Fastline, equipment trader, etc for compsno luck.

Think I paid $11-12K new.

Any suggestions on pricing?

If anyone is interested, it's located in Blanco Co.

No comps means there is demand but no supply. Google says ~20% inflation since 2011. I imagine you lost some value off the dealer lot, but not much.

($12k*.97) * 1.2 * market mark up of ?? 30% plus??

Stock trailers hold their value. I'd start at $10.5K and take $10k. A 2011 steel stock trailer is not even broken in.

Wish I'd have known about this a day earlier. Bought a new stock trailer yesterday afternoon. Unbelievable how much trailers have gone up with steel prices.

Do you have some pictures?

I will try to get some more pics in a few days.

In the meantime, there's one in the link above.

One or two cut gates? Escape door? Looks like one on drivers side. Looks like back gate has slider in it.

I've been casually looking for a GN trailer that is 20-24' to haul show cattle for next three years then either in selling or using at our place. Not sure when I will pull the trigger.

Condition (rust and paint) seems to really effect prices. Age has less of an effect.

Canvas condition also a big factor.

Has it been kept outside or under a cover?

Original tires?

Interested to see more pictures. Great time to be selling

2 cut gates, escape gate front left, slider in the back, 2nd set of tires, canvas in good shape, mix of covered under pole barn and uncovered, minor rust near back gate

Will post pics in the next day or two

Good luck. I have a steel 3 horse slant with tack room for sale that I'm not getting many bites on. It's in good shape but horse people want aluminum now. Good stock trailers, with a title, hold value forever as long as they aren't rusted through.

What part of the world are you in? Is it a Bruton? Does it have an A/C?

Brazos County. It's a Chaparral. No A/C.

7500lb, I believe

Will have to double check

Mother in law took some pics while I was at work, but didn't get a pic of those specs

Great trailer and really matches what I need except for length. Ive been debating between 20' and 24' and decided I'll hold out for a 20'.

There was another poster that I think said list for 10.5 and take 10. Probably about right from what I have been seeing. There are some Facebook groups where people sell show trailers and trucks. I see more aluminum on there that steel. Great time to be selling trailer.

My trailer turns 50 this year I believe and my dad uses one made in the 50s. They really do last forever with just a little upkeep. They both have steel floors instead of wood and have had new wiring a couple times and obviously new tires.

I plan on keeping the one I just bought until I'm dead. Rubber floors and steel walls should last forever as long as I take a little care of it and wash out the trailer with a pressure washer every once in a while. It's uglier than sin, but extremely well built. I'm gonna name her "La Fea".

Appreciate everyone's help.

Any advice on where to post it for sale?

Sounds like Facebook is a good place to start.
