Can anyone recommend a Houston kydex holster maker?

Need somebody that can make a holster for an uncommon pistol and don't want to ship a pistol. Would rather drop off local.

I don't have my hands on it yet but I went out on a limb and bought a Laugo Alien.

We shall see how crazy the purchase turns out to be.

Not in Houston, but these guys are in Lampasas and make holsters for the Lionheart. I have one of their OWB holsters for every one of my carry pistols. They are great holsters.

Lancer has stock on them again. Mine should be here mid next week.

I am already looking for someone to make me base pads and think I have that covered. If worse comes to worse I will just make the step file and send it to Shapeways to be 3D printed. But I know some Briley's people and the guy that owns Lone Star Innovations. Between the two I should have aluminum ones quickly.

I have a universal fit type holster that works with my CZ just fine so I probably have the holster covered but really want a purpose built one. I don't like the speed type holsters made for open guns but thats an option as well.

Laugo also has several new models they are about to launch.

I was going to go 2011 but decided to take the chance on the Alien after watching every youtube video and talking with a few owners.

So far the only thing that is a drawback to the Alien is it gets hot quickly. But this is not an issue for what I will use it for.

Does Comp tac do custom? I don't think they do. Other than universal fit type holsters.

Put light on it and found that one of my existing lightbearing holsters actually works perfect as everything is piloted of the Surefire.

Shot a few rounds today with the Alien at lunch and initial impressions are all positive. Will post more in a few days.

Poor Henry Designs is a great one-man shop that makes custom Kydex near Houston. "Poor Henry" is a Montgomery County Constable's Deputy or Sheriff's Deputy (can't remember which) who makes them in the garage. I have multiple holsters by him and am getting another made next week.
