Anything good here to eat?
May want to call first to make sure they are open on Mondays. I would say the same for calling Cathy's in POC, if you want to cruise another 30 mins South. Then you could stroll on the pier and check out the beach. What can I say? When it is pouring at the coast, and we are there fishing, we usually need some boat or trailer parts or we are jonesin for some soft plastics from Academy/The Tacklebox/Waterloo Pro Shop. Once we solve that, our fat bellies demand to be maintained!!!giddings_ag_06 said:
Do you have a dozen "Visit Victoria" pamphlets with you at all times also?

2nd Dairy Treat. Malts are awesome and the burgers are underrated. I suggest a double meat as the patties are thin.

Oddly enough, there really isn't any great Mexican food there. It's all pretty ho-hum and very greasy. VeraCruz was good at one time but has gone waaaay downhill. Some people like Las Palmas

Is The Corral still there? As a kid, when we'd drive by there (my grandparents lived in Victoria) that sign out front use to fascinate me.
