Tired of feet wet in heavy morning dew. Have had the cheap ones that are wedged between the bed and cab of the truck that work well in a pinch but looking for a pair that fit snug and one can wear most of at least into late morning.

Muck Boots work well for me. The neoprene tops seems to hug my calves pretty well, but I'll admit to not using them in a complete marsh as yet, just muddy fields. You can find closeout pairs about for around $80ish usually. The neoprene does keep your legs dry, I roll the neoprene down then tuck my pants inside then roll back up. I have the Fieldblazer model.

Muck boots for sure. I've worn them standing in the pool and zero water got it, so I can attest to their waterproofness. Comfortable too.

If you're just trying to keep your feet dry and need a comfortable boot, look at these:

Absolutely the best rubber boots I have ever owned.

Have owned Muck and LaCrosse. Both great boots. My job gets us a new pair of insulated steel toe Mucks each year. Very waterproof and as mentioned above, the neoprene at the top of the boot is a nice feature and I use mine the same way he stated.

Uninsulated LL Beans. I have two pairs and wear them quite a bit. One is nicer that I'll wear to work or out and one is a raggedy pair that I wear hunting or working around the place. During summer they can get warm, but 92% of the year they are fine.

Another vote for Muck boots. I just couldn't imagine paying that kind of money, but found a pair on closeout. They are awesome and will buy at full price next time.

I have a few rubber pairs and Muck I have rotated. My favorite are Lacrosse Alpha Burly. I wear them a lot. They are more comfortable, but also a little more expensive.

Grundens
I use the 6" deck boss boot all the time for morning activities in the field. Very comfortable to wear all day, warm and dry. They have all sorts of rubber boots and styles for your preference.

Or better yet the white fishing boots/ dancing shoes from Chalmette Lousiana.

These are Lacrosse Grange 18". Have lasted several years. But I've never owned a pair of Muck boots. Lacrosse makes these in camo now also.

I have bought several pairs of these. Hold up well, wear them about every day during winter.

I'll second these. Worth every penny.

I use a pair of leather slip-on work boots from Chippewa. I coat them once a year with Sno-Seal. Works just fine, and can wear them all day. They don't protect my lower pants legs from getting wet, but at least I don't get wet.

Lacrosse Grange 18". I've had muck boots and the neoprene tops get hot. Lacrosse get hot too, but not as hot in my opinion. The Lacrosse boots are much less bulky around the foot and ankle.
