I have a yeti rambler that seems to no longer be insulated. The ice melts rather quickly and the outside of it is very cold. Anyone else having similar issue? If so has anyone tried to get them to replace it? Thanks & Gig'em!

Just out of curiosity did you wash it in dishwasher?

I've found these to have a 3-4 year lifespan with as frequently as I use mine. Like someone else alluded to, dont put them in the dishwasher.

If it got air inside and lost its vacuum it will not hold temp as well. Air between metal walls is still better than a single metal wall.

This

It ruins the tumbler and freezes the dishwasher... bad combination. Hand wash only for me and even my RTIC ones still work flawlessly.

So badass they have to be hand washed.

Mine haven't lasted either. Used to keep my coffee hot for many hours in the cold. Now it lasts about an hour.

I've had the same Yeti rambler for 7 years. Got it as a groomsmen gift in a wedding. I use it daily. Fill with ice and water in the morning and it always has ice until after lunch. I wash it in the fish washer maybe once a month. It's beat to **** but it still works just fine. The only thing I've had to replace is the lid because I hurled it across my driveway and the lid didn't survive.

I got a yeti rambler for Christmas in 2019 and the instructions then we're explicit that it was dishwasher safe.

I only hand wash it because it's dirty and I want to use it right now. No problems so far.

Washing it in the "fish" washer is fine.....just not the dish washer.

Freudian slip. Reading about carp on the fly in the other thread has me day dreaming tonight.

The newer ones specifically say that they're dishwasher safe. I personally still don't run mine in the DW, because I have other things like my kitchen knives that I hand wash, so it's not a big deal.

Screw the Yeti, I want to know more about this fish washer!

Does it fillet them too, or just clean them once you get them filleted?
Or are talking about washing dirty fish from an aquarium?

Either way, I'm interested...

I am on my fourth Ozark Trails 32oz'er over about 5 years. I think it is probably a wash between buying the yeti cup and buying 4 of the OZT cups. The ice all melted is the cue that the vacuum seal has been compromised.

It's really fancy. It uses canola oil. You just heat it up to about 375 and drop the fish in for a few minutes. Works best on catfish and crappie. I would not recommend putting your children's gold fish in it.
