We are building an outdoor kitchen for our home (modern contemporary home) and are deciding on our grill now. Looking for any pros/cons with brands that you guys have. We are currently looking at the Alfresco brand but am open to other suggestions. I am a novice griller. Our size is 30" and budget would be $5k or less. I welcome any suggestions. Thank you.

Edit to add you can disregard my post. I actually read your post and you are looking for something higher end.

I have a natural gas Weber stainless steel grill. It is fantastic and is the only one you should consider. EOT...

The house we bought last year had a built in natural gas grill from Bull BBQ

I have basically this grill set up + a fridge

looks more or less like this

I have no complaints, grill works good, fridge works well

I've got the 36" 5-burner from bull. Bought an IR burner to replace one of the standard ones so I could sear steaks (in lieu of any side burners). They have a griddle insert as well. For the money it works well, hotspots a minor issue but that's been my experience on most lower and mid level gas grills. Would still recommend as an option all things considered.

ETA: If your budget is 5k just for the grill you can certainly consider something more "high end" which I unfortunately don't have much experience with.

I think mine is the 30" Angus model with the IR -- and I agree, I would recommend it

Bull Outdoor Products 87049 Lonestar Select Natural Gas Drop-In Grill Head https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CQGFSI0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0067PNQQGA9JZ6EPNVCY

I've got this one with an IR burner in 36", and I'm really happy with it. I use it for searing after meat comes off the pellet grill more than anything, but it comes in super handy when I need to crank out a bunch of burgers, dogs, etc. Or sometimes I just want a black and blue steak, so I'll crank the gas grill to over 600* and cook the steak 30-60 secs per side depending on thickness. Works like a champ.

I have a Lynx, mine is propane not NG. It is solid and pretty much flare up free.I do not use the side burners very often but they will boil water as fast as my kitchen burners will.

We are planning to do our outdoor kitchen this year. Started looking at grills last weekend and came across the alfresco and liked it. I like the built in rotisserie vs the dcs that has the turning mechanism outside the grill. Looking at 36".
