You sir are correct, used to hunt them down with baseball bats at dusk in south Brazos county, gut 'em and throw them on a bed of coals wrapped in tin foil. If you like fatty barbacoa, you'll like Armadillo.

We redpots used to eat 'em out on Duncan Field. We'd grab 'em at dusk at the cutting site and have a Jr redpot from east Texas clean them for us. Pretty good, really. Better than a lot of what we ate at Sbisa.
