I picked up two Yamaha 2000 inverter generators used from an Aggie on here for $900. That was about 6 years ago. Pretty embarrassed to say I haven't don't squat for maintenance and they still start first or second try. Going to take them into a small engine shop for to go through, though.

Is it possible to run different size inverters in parallel? Different brands?

I've been impressed with my Predador 3500 inverter, it's on season 3 of being the only source of power I have at my deer lease without any issues. Another guy bought one last year as well and hasn't had any issues with his either.

WEN inverters are supposed to allow you to connect any two WEN inverter generators together with their parallel kit.

So..maybe a dumb question, but if running the Honda EU7000 generator at 240V/30A and you link 2 together, how is this wired into the panel?

2 wires feeding 2 30A breakers, or are they linked together via 1 wire, 30A?

Plan is to buy 1, but if spending the time, might as well plan ahead for whatever future needs there may be.

I looked at their website and I really didn't see the details of how it connected to the panel. I would assume you would need two 30A breakers in your panel to connect them separately. There are no provisions on the generator for connecting the power leads together, plus that would exceed 30A.

Good for portable generators up to $3000.

Nothing mechanical goes wrong with a generator unless the rats chewed some wiring. Other than that it' always about the fuel. I run ethanol free gas in everything I own with a small motor. And they just dont gum up, unless you let it sit for 5 years. Or a fuel line weather cracks and breaks. But they start every time.
