Deer is 3.5 - 4.5 my guess. He is a nice hill country buck.
No sheds yet. Still seeing horns on bucks. I have pulled my cameras though.

This guy showed up a couple of days ago.. I saw him a couple times during the season but was chasing another buck.

Dumped a couple hundred pounds at each feeder just before the freeze hit. Never had blackbirds at my feeders but they showed up almost instantly at every feeder and devoured 3/4 of what I put out. Guessing they were migrating through with the cold.

Built some boxes last week. Crazy that they can hit a 3x4 target on the fly with no perch.

Silly cows broke the hot wire, broke the feeder tube then knocked down the feeder.. so frustrating. I went nearly 12 months of no cow issues then in 10 days they've knocked it down 2x

Welcome to the club. On Saturday after running my charolais bull out of one of my feed pens, my friend and I fixed the wire he broke and we got to watch him mock us by licking the wire we'd just fixed. The wire tested at 7.3 kV, so my ground must suck because it was on at the time.

Sucks man but I had to fix 3 feeders in about 18 months because of Aoudad and feral goats. May I recommend a stand n fill? Solved my problems

I'm looking at the lamco 700 or all seasons 1250 right now. Any help?

I went with an ASF 600 but the Lamcos are damn good feeders. In hindsight, I should've purchased the 1000lb ASF model. It is not that much bigger and potentially having to only fill up your feeder once a season is very attractive. I fill my 600lb one about 2.5-3 times from Labor Day to January. The less activity near a feeder, the better.

So that being said, if the price difference isn't that much, I would go with the 1250. Loading 25 bags is going to suck but you're not going to have to do it very often.

You can. It also fits in the bed of a ranger.

Bard owl? Wanting to build some owl specific boxes. Looks small/ medium but definitely bigger than a screech owl.

I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.

I ended up going with the 1250. I set it out last friday night around 9:30 and still don't have any activity around that feeder.

All mine show are wets and cows.

Without a doubt the bucks are back in bachelor groups!
