Theory that is 100% speculation…

Dude smokes spice mixed with weed. He's not used to it. He's trying to drive to Houston. Its getting progressively harder for him to drive. He knows he needs to get off the highway, but he's all f-ed up and he's too paranoid to stop somewhere in town for fear of the local cops rolling up on him smelling like weed, and with weed in the car.

He knows he's not able to drive, but he needs to get somewhere and let this high wear off because he knows whatever he smoke and / or took is getting progressively stronger. He keeps going straight at the intersection and ends up several miles down a dirt road.

Dude has double vision. Is hallucinating who knows what.

Sees something in the road, doesn't know if its real or what, but swerves, overcorrects and ends up wrecked in the ditch.

Then …

A. His judgment is impaired to the point that he runs off in the woods, hides somewhere, succumbs to the elements, and is consumed by nature;

or

B. He's high. He's wrecked his car. He's freezing cold. Standing on the side of the road. He's hallucinating and disoriented. In an act of desperation and panic, he somehow runs out in front of another vehicle and gets hit. His body is somehow stuck to a vehicle or lands up on an open trailer. He may have also been put inside a vehicle by a another human. In any event, his body is carried away from the scene, never to be seen again.

Quote:

GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) The bodies of two men were found in an abandoned oil tanker trailer northeast of Seguin Monday afternoon, according to the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office.

The county got a report from a Texas Department of Transportation worker around 3:46 p.m., saying a body was in an abandoned oil tanker trailer near the 8900 block of Highway 90, which is located just outside of Kingsbury.

Once deputies arrived at the scene, they saw two bodies within the tanker trailer, the sheriff's office said. The Seguin Fire Department, Guadalupe County Fire Marshal's Office and the Schertz Fire Department determined the air quality was safe, and the bodies of two men were removed.

The bodies haven't been identified yet, the sheriff's office said, and an autopsy is pending. The investigation is still open.

I was driving near Luling yesterday and decided to do a driveby. Well, sort of. I drove thru the intersection where he was supposed to turn right. There are a lot of houses down that street. Made the left turn at the T and more houses and some new construction. I didn't go too far down because the road was already bumpy. I was in a decent size SUV, so he had to have been really messed up to end up where he did by accident in his Altima. OR, he wasn't driving.

I wonder if they talked to all the people who live in the houses?

They've retraced his steps by his phone pinging up to that exact intersection. The section of salt flat road he went missing on is super oil well heavy, so there's not anyone living in a house for a at least a mile maybe even two from the crash site. All that's out there is oil wells and cattle. I honestly don't believe Jason is out in that area.

The digital footprint stopped at the 183/80 intersection so they don't know what happened after that.. I was looking at a map. Wonder if he could have somehow turned left, went up 183 to 86. Looks like if you turn on Pumper Rd, then onto Salt Flat, it is very close to where he wrecked. Not too far of a walk back to 86. Yeah I know. I think too much!

Because of how incredibly hard it is nowadays to disappear. Especially someone who was obviously a user of technology and social media, had a close relationship with friends and family, and he doesn't come off as a mastermind capable of pulling that off.

There's always a chance but I'd say it's a very slim one.

Because it's extremely hard to disappear, he probably disappeared? That doesn't make more sense than he probably died and hogs or some person did away with the remains

I feel so sad for his family. Never to have closure, always hoping, what a nightmare.
I read his dad is a minister, hopefully he can take solace knowing they will be reunited in Heaven.

Most likely the young man didn't suffer.
Probable hypothermia while under the influence.
Judgement affected by the marijuana, further loss of cognition and coordination as the cold quickly sapped his body heat. Went to sleep way out in one of those fields and didn't wake up.

I doubt they will ever find a trace this long after his disappearance.

Over the past 15 years I've disposed of several dozens of whole feral hogs in a gully located in the back of my pastures.

Within a few weeks there is absolutely nothing left, everything usually is consumed or disappears including the skulls.
Nature's little cleanup crews are very effective.
Coyotes carry off & consume the remainder, such as skin, larger bones & skulls and that area shown probably has more coyotes than most people imagine.

The Nation's Silent Mass Disaster
The sheer volume of missing and unidentified person cases poses one of the greatest challenges to agencies tasked with resolving these important cases.
Over 600,000 individuals go missing in the United States every year.[1] Fortunately, many missing children and adults are quickly found, alive and well. However, tens of thousands of individuals remain missing for more than one year what many agencies consider "cold cases".
It is estimated that 4,400 unidentified bodies are recovered each year, with approximately 1,000 of those bodies remaining unidentified after one year.[2]

They found his clothes in the county road according to the Sheriff report. Shorts, T-shirt, underwear, sandals.
So assumed he was fully disrobed.

From the testimony of his friend who recorded the video chat, we have evidence that he was mentally disorganized before he got in the car. On the day he disappeared. After that, we know he went the wrong way (dirt road), crashed his car, took off his clothes, and left things in completely disarray outside of his car. All indicating disorganization. Altered mental status.

Moreover the video shows that he was sweating quite profusely. Is this a reflection of his physiological state? Or did he just finish a big workout? I think given his mental disorganization it's more likely the former. He's sweating, and then later he removes his clothing.

The chances that he tried to mastermind his own disappearance and faked all of this? Zero.
Chances that he is an unlucky person who had a mental and physical breakdown and was then randomly murdered? Close to zero.

Obvious indications of drug use. All of it. Why do we pretend it was something else? Tragic situation but willful ignorance doesn't help anyone.

Continued prayers for this family.

Just this week, the remains of a woman who died three years ago near my hometown were discovered. Similar situation with her car being discovered and the area searched repeatedly with no success. No reports yet on what finally led to the discovery.

he might have been under the influence of other drugs and alcohol, but marijuana isn't causing someone to strip off all their clothes, wander around, and disappear.
