I thought I was done after picking up a Volquartsen Black Mamba for my birthday.

I didn't own anything in .300 blk and have been wanting to get a suppressor (or 2 or 3)...and...well...it just sort of came home with me.

Probably a stupid question, but here goes. On a rifle/pistol with a folding stock/brace, where is the buffer tube?

Not a stupid question.

MCX uses a different bolt and recoil spring system. Its shorter than an AR-15 bolt and uses smaller dual recoil springs contained in the receiver, so no need for a buffer tube.

Can be fired folded as well.

OP if you don't have a can for it yet consider the Sig cans designed for that tapered barrel.

Have seen rare cases of people who have alignment issues using conventional cans and shims, so at a minimum verify the can is mounted right before shooting it. Surefire cans/brakes seem to have the most trouble.

If I go with something else like a sandman do you recommend using something like the Geissele alignment gage?

Also, with the shorter barrel and extended guard is there any issue with going with a qd system I should I go direct mount?
