We are heading home today. Drove over to Port A yesterday. It really sucks that you can't drive on the beach. Screw that. Not going to park and walk a long way packing a cooler and crap to the beach. We rode around a bit and headed back to Rockport. Ate at Moondogs last night. It was ok. We stayed at the Lighthouse the past 2 nights. They had an omelette bar this morning.

We eat at Moondogs a lot because the food is pretty consistent and the kids love it. They usually have really good waitstaff. (What Mark F said-labor force is stuggling. I should pick up some shifts for extra cash!) It's nothing fancy but good when you just need reliable food. I even have a friend who is gluten free (legitimately) and they were cheerful and accommodating and knocked her socks off woth the buttered shrimp.

We ate at 495 Cheseapeake - worth every penny. The crab dip appetizer was amazeballs and the seafood mac and cheese was outstanding. Wife got the crab cakes and they were among the best I've ever tasted as well. Would definitely go back.
