Mom brought us an Israel melon this weekend. It's been years since I had one. Always loved them but this one is the best I can remember. For those unfamiliar with them imagine the best qualities of honeydew mixed with the best cantaloupe. mmmmmm

1987. My ship, aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60) pulls into Haifa, Israel for a port call. Stepped off the launch onto the pier and there were four IDF female soldiers carrying Uzi's on guard duty. Every one of them was a total smoke show. I swear Israeli women are some of the most beautiful on the planet.

Well, we all suspect the IMF is controlled by Israel, but I think those female soldiers were part of the IDF (Israel Defense Force) and not the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

And while her "melons" aren't very large, I'll always go with Gal Gadot any day!
