Anyone headed out today to check on their cabin?
I can't get there until Thursday I would appreciate a first hand report.

I'm headed to twin palms this afternoon to check on my place and a few friend's places. I hear the floaters are scattered all over the bay.
Thanks for the POC update. We keep a boat there but it's about 6 blocks inland from froggies, so I am assuming it is safe. May need to make a special checking on the boat trip though.tkusak said:
I was in POC this weekend and no major damage to report. Yes the bait shops had water in them, but that happens almost every time there's a hurricane, so that was expected. No houses, or RVs damaged that I saw ridding around. I did see the small pier between front beach and boggy was gone, but again with that high of water and wind, that was expected.

Curious about the cabins in the land cut. Recently went from corpus to padre. King ranch is Magnificat as we expect. Is there some type of ownership? Hope all you guys with one survived.

That really sucks, especially for folks that very recently put work in. If yall have a cabin and need some help hauling some things away or to the cabin or need a hand, I've got a boat and can help if I have a free weekend.

No offense, but it sucks for the King Ranch having all that crap on their place.

There should be a work exchange program. Go work for a weekend and get an invite for a fishing weekend.
