Never heard of anyone using a field gauge for a precision rifle. Only used them on milsurps myself.

I ordered a Protector today and the Commander/belt combo yesterday.

I have a Commander I use for my carry S&W and saw the belt combo so I ordered another one. I didn't wasn't to stretch out the first one with a thicker gun and the combo price it was a no brainer.

The Dad35 discount code was calling my name for the Protector.

It's a decent little shooter in .38, trigger isn't bad, recoil isn't bad either because the grip is a little bigger than the regular LCR IIRC.

If I hadn't been trying to keep standardized caliber wise I would have grabbed one in .327 instead.

I bet it'll be a good little shooter.

Ah crap...just noticed the ARC ring hinge pins aren't flush. That's the only thing I don't like about those rings - they're very loose when the rings haven't been tightened. Otherwise they are fantastically easy to adjust and excellent machining.


...fixed now!

If you use mills instead of minutes, meters make the math a little simpler.
