How long do you want to ignore this user?

I'm looking to purchase several dozen knives to give to some guys at work that have really performed well on a recent project. I'd like to give them a decent knife, I'm sort of partial to Benchmade. I want to give them something that they'll use as an EDC.

Any recommended website or company to buy 30 or so knives at a time? I'm thinking either the Osborn 940 or the 810 Contego.

Any others I should be thinking about. I'd like to keep it in the $150-$200 range.

Cool idea to reward your project guys.

Agree on the Benchmade knives - I carry a few different models. The one that I usually grab when I get up in the morning is my Bugout. lightweight. easy to carry.

Benchmade Bugout

Have you talked to Benchmade? You can order from them directly - and they will personalize/lasermark the knife if you want to date or mention the project on the knife. Worth giving them a call to see what they can do for you on an order of 30 knives...

I would suggest you call DLT Trading. I don't know if they will do a bulk discount, but I have found them to be pretty good to deal with. Or with which to deal. Whatever.

Anyway, give 'em a call.....

The 940 is the best pocket knife Ive ever had.

A little more -

Between the Contego and the 940, I would prefer the 940. I think the design of the Contego is probably going to be more polarizing, and I also like how the design of the 940 isn't too tactical. Also like how the 940 takes up a very small amount of room in the pocket.

Another BM to consider is the Bugout. Also very easy to carry, and has the ability to be greatly customized by the owner should they desire. Less expensive than the Osborn too.

You might also consider the Spyderco Paramilitary 3 and Para 2. Both made in America like the BM's, and can also be greatly customized like the Bugout. I prefer the Para 3, but the 2 is more popular overall. I love my 940-1, but I carry my Para 3 more.

Lastly, Filson has their own variant of the venerable Buck 110 that I find to be a very handsome knife. $130.00, with a belt sheath. If your co-workers are the Filson type, then it might be worth your time to call them.

Thanks for the help. I've carried the 940 for about 8 years as an EDC. I'll reach out to BM and see what they say.

Reach out to a local small business that carries Benchmade and work out a deal with them! They will appreciate the business and probably shave a decent bit of because of volume.

You can then get them engraved for $5-$8 each.

Did this for Christmas for clients

If you're doing that many benchmades, I'll set up an account and hook you up really well on pricing.

Buck knives can do that.

I'd suggest the Sprint Pro.

I know this may be breaking a rule of some kind recommending something less expensive but I prefer the griptilian. Anymore expensive I skip straight to bark river.

Yes on the group buy if it happens. OP, also look at Boker. Been wanting to bring them in for a bit just haven't had a chance.
