Just finished up my 6.5 grendel AR build and I'm having an issue deciding on what kind of optics to go with. Currently have a vortex 4-16, but i plan to use this rifle more to walk around looking for pigs and critters and found myself leaning towards an LPVO in the 1-8x range.

Thoughts and recommendations welcomed please. This rifle was built as a "budget" rifle, looking for optics in the $500ish range. I was looking at the Riton x3 tactix this morning, but would like some additional opinions.

Eyeguy carries a Rudolph 1-8 FFP that is very nice.

I have two of the Rudolph 1-8 FFP's and I really really like them.

I bought a Riton 1-4x from Eyeguy, and have it on my 6.8 AR pistol. I get sub-MOA groups at 100 yards. The glass is good and the illuminated reticle is a nice feature as well. I'm pretty sure Riton has a 1-8x as well. I know they have a 1-6x.

Any thoughts on the USO 1-8? Buddy of mine recommended that this morning

Went with the us optics 1-8 ts-8x. It's an FFP with the JNG illuminated reticle with an American defense recon scope mount. Should be here by the weekend to get dialed in and hopefully slap a couple pigs around. Thanks for all the help y'all
