I have a Noveske upper/lower/handguard that I want to get Cerakoted.

I could really use recommendations for that and for a gunsmith in the DFW area.

As always, I appreciate the expertise from TexAgs.
We may not always get what we want. We may not always get what we need. Just so we don't get what we deserve.

This is the best guy in DFW for cerakoting. Call and see if he can work you in

I have sprayed both Cerekote and KGGunkote for a few years. I always recommend people go with KG. It's just as durable however both will scratch, especially on pistols carried in Kydex. The difference in the 2 is KG can be touched up. Cerekote requires a complete strip back to bare metal and refinish because it will not stick to itself once the base layer is fully cured.

One of my buddies is in the DFW area and does exceptional work but he only sprays KG. If you decide to go that route, check him out. You wont be disappointed. Tell him Kelso Arms sent you.

I'm in Bryan but I am not taking any work in right now because I'm waiting for ATF to finalize my change of address on my license and building out a new shop. Once I do get running again, I have about 2 months worth of projects already in queue.

I'm fairly certain that Burdette and Sons and Horizon both do Cerakote. I have not seen work from either but if you're just looking for solid color, any applicator should do a good job as long as they prep it correctly. Both of these guys are big enough that if they offer the service, I would expect they know what they are doing.

If you dont mind shipping it, check the link I posted above. You can ship it directly to him, he does the work, and ships it directly back to you. Much easier transaction than most think.

Thank you for the information sir. I'm in no rush to get it done. I'll wait around until your back in business.

I believe you helped me install some night sights on my pistol a few years ago, it was very much appreciated.
