I'd love to chat about that. I don't have a particular design for this kind of bag; I make them custom to your specifications (and I don't make many). I'll warn you that it'll be a while until you get a finished product because I'm behind on some smaller projects, so if you need something right away happy to suggest some alternatives. Shoot me and we can talk details.

Hmm.

I could use something nicer than my hippie-flage bag for my VZ61....

You know where to find me!

Not in Houston, but Chance from Herd Leather in Tyler makes good quality stuff.

Any idea if he is still doing business? The link doesn't work and wanted to get something for Christmas. He had a really nice minimal bi-fold that you could customize. Haven't been able to find anything that is similar.

Not really outdoors but figured this is the right crowd to ask. Wallet is falling apart, need a new one. Any local companies (Houston-ish) make a good leather wallet?

I bought a wallet from Simms made out of old waders. It's really nice if you fall in the water because your money and other things won't get wet.

Not leather, but this is what I use. My leather wallets seemed to always become too bulky/large.

Saddleback is good stuff. I had one of their big folds for several years. I transitioned over to a small wallet probably 5 years ago because sitting one the bifold was causing back issues (sucks getting old). I got this one and I currently have 3 business cards, hunting license, drivers license, insurance card, 5 credit/gift cards and a folded up $20. Can carry front pocket or back pocket. I love it.

That's the main reason I went from the medium bifold to the front pocket wallet. I found myself putting all sorts of stuff in it and it just continued to grow to the point it was uncomfortable. So, I went with the front pocket and cut down to what exactly I needed.

Currently, I carry:
2 debit cards
1 credit card
DL
LTC
Health insurance card
HSA card

I'll occasionally have some cash that I carry, but it's rare.

3 years later and still don't have anything aside of what is listed here in my wallet. And the wallet is still in excellent shape.

I have the money clip version and love it. The strap never appealed to me personally.
