Not really outdoors but figured this is the right crowd to ask. Wallet is falling apart, need a new one. Any local companies (Houston-ish) make a good leather wallet?
My Saddleback did that when new. I started putting the cards in upside down to keep it from breaking off the stripe. Seems to have cut down on the issues. I still have to replace them every year or twododger02 said:
Anyone have an issue with a wallet creating a crease in their credit cards? I have a Fossil from ~5-7 years ago that puts a nice (****ty) crease in all of my credit cards. I have to replace all of my cards about two or three times a year because they crack and break.
Anyone have any similar problems with the options provided in this thread?
Older Saddleback wallets were designed so the credit card stripe was right above the edge of the leather. Over time the card would crack.Quote:
Are you guys complaining of the saddleback wallets breaking your cards talking about back pocket wallets? Like where you're sitting in it all the time?
I do leatherwork as a hobby - have made quite a number of wallets, if you're interested.J.D. c/o 05 said:
