I'm in the market and looking for a new 9mm "Pistol" I assume by the quotations you understand what I mean. I am not looking for a handgun....

I do not really like the look of any AR-9's I have seen. The way the Glock mag slants backwards same as the grip just doesn't look right to me.

I have multiple Sig handguns and love their build and craftsmanship. With that being said the Sig MPX is an absolutely sweet looking sub machine gun looking pistol. The price tag on that however is quite significant. I've also seen the Xenith MP5 clones that look sweet but also very pricey.

I have seen the Scorpion and they look a little funny to me.

I've seen the AK-V9 which also looks very intriguing for one because it just has a great look to it but also I have been interested in having an AK platform anyways. Two birds as they say...

What else might I be missing in the field....also what would you call these to categorize them to search options 9mm pistols obviously turns up mainly handguns.

Also before anyone recommends it I already have a 556 AR pistol so I'm not looking for a rifle round pistol, just 9mm varieties

MPX, i know that does not help you, but I love mine, my wife does, and everyone i've had shoot it has a blast with it. It is a little pricy, but you know the saying. Whatever you get, just get out and shoot it, to many buy awesome guns and just put them in the safe.

Stribog SP9. Basically a clone of the B&T, but for a third of the price.

Ruger has the new OC charger, but it is really ugly.

There is a 9mm version of the Tavor.

PSA is supposed to have an MP5 clone out this year.

While the Glock mag AR9's (and the AK variant Nak-9) may not be aesthetically pleasing, they do have the advantage of cheap, common mags you can share with your pistol.

If people didn't buy guns because of the way they looked, Glock would have never sold a single handgun.

Go to MAC (Military Arms Channel) and check out all of Tim's reviews on 9mmsubs. You'll find one that floats your boat. Enjoy.

Yea definitely not doing SBR, I'd rather just stick to a pistol. The can does seem fun though

The can is a blast on there, fun with super or subsonic rounds. The impact of the bullet makes more noise than the round going off.

I have a Scorpion and an SP5. Both are awesome. I'd take the SP5 every day and infinity times on Sunday . . . because it's an MP5. But both are fantastic guns.

Yep pistol. Dan Haga Design makes the adapters for the stribog and tailhook.

HK VP9SK - very nice and well made.

Do it, I put the timney trigger in mine and it runs great! I had an ASR brake on it for the Hybrid, now that I have my octane I put a rugged 3-lug adapter on the gun and the SiCo low profile 3-lug on the octane. It's supper quite and a ball to shoot, though suppresses you want to have glasses on as you get lots of gas!

CMMG Banshee is a great 9mm. I really enjoy shooting it. I will probably also buy a B&T APC9 one of these days.

The biggest problem your going to have right now is finding a 9mm AR-15 pistol for under $1,000. Every place I've checked are sold out. Ruger, Extar and Freedom Ordnance all make decent PC Ar-15 pistols for under $800 but trying to find one will be a challenge.

Bud's shows they have an American Tactical Import AR type pistol in 9mm but I know nothing about them, Most firearms from American Tactical Imports (ATI) are okay but considered to be more of a budget option.

SP5 is awesome.....but way to rich for my blood

It actually came with a brace, but I like the side folding adjustable stock ALOT better. Much more comfortable, better ergonomics and saves a few inches making it more compact and easier to carry in almost any bag.

But also comes with paying a bunch of extra money to the government and getting a tax stamp....hard pass

Ehh, $200 for the stock and $200 for the stamp. I went the route of a Form 1 and 14 day later I had my stamp.

Yikes! Misread your post first go around. Another vote for the Scorpion pistol or the EVO 3 S1 carbine model with folding stock.
