Gorgeous gun. How many rounds through it? Condition?

I'm not in the market, proud owner of a SPII w 30 inch barrels.

Fellas, this is a great deal if the gun is in good condition w a reasonable shell count. Somebody pull the trigger.

Not more than 3 flats. I got a wild hair and upgraded again. Not a mark on it.

i actually upgraded to a well-cared for prior-model that was already fitted with full tube set and case. it's a 682 gold e. the prior owner was retiring from the sport and the price was too hard to pass up.

i hear you...never thought i be at that price point...the cost of the gun is relative to how much you spend on rounds. As you shoot more, you start to rationalize it. Crazy thing is, this new one is still considered a "work horse" and not a fancy guy among the regular club shooters.

Nice, and I am thinking extremely hard about your offer. I have my sights set on the Caesar Guerini, but you are offering a fair price that I am having to consider.

Do you shoot at NSC?

that would be the next level "fancy gun" that i would consider later when I retire. My kids shoot in our local 4 h club. We only do NSC for tournaments. I try to shoot with my kids when i can. My goal right now, is to learn/practice enough to become a better 4h kid coach. Hence the sub-gauge setup so i can better tell what/when i'm doing it wrong.

If you compare shooting to other activities like golf, fishing, hunting, collecting, etc. it's really not unreasonable to go drop 7-10K on a gun if that's your hobby. In fact, it's probably a better long term value. My 20K boat motor won't be worth squat in 10 years when I re-power my sled. Spend half of that on a K-80 or a Perrazzi and 10 years from now you'll still get most of your money back.

Are you guys going to the SA Rodeo Shoot this weekend for 4H?

We're in town for the JSO. If I had brought my checkbook I would be extremely interested in this gun.

The point about a boat motor vs. high end shotgun is very valid!
