i actually upgraded to a well-cared for prior-model that was already fitted with full tube set and case. it's a 682 gold e. the prior owner was retiring from the sport and the price was too hard to pass up.TacosaurusRex said:

i hear you...never thought i be at that price point...the cost of the gun is relative to how much you spend on rounds. As you shoot more, you start to rationalize it. Crazy thing is, this new one is still considered a "work horse" and not a fancy guy among the regular club shooters.drummer0415 said:TacosaurusRex said:

Seriously.... how much did you spend to upgrade from a $3k gun???
that would be the next level "fancy gun" that i would consider later when I retire. My kids shoot in our local 4 h club. We only do NSC for tournaments. I try to shoot with my kids when i can. My goal right now, is to learn/practice enough to become a better 4h kid coach. Hence the sub-gauge setup so i can better tell what/when i'm doing it wrong.TacosaurusRex said:
Nice, and I am thinking extremely hard about your offer. I have my sights set on the Caesar Guerini, but you are offering a fair price that I am having to consider.
Do you shoot at NSC?
Start at a DT-11 and go up from there.ajthomas said:
so forgive my naivete .... but what exactly is considered to be a "fancy gun among the regular club shooters"
