Do you offer 1911 upgrade services? I have an older Springfield 1911 A1 that is the milspec model. It may be from the early 90s or so.

It has started to have extraction issues and the more I think about it, it may be cool to overhaul the whole thing. Problem is I don't know what my options are so I'm just trying to get a feeler for if or what you might be able to do.

Yes I know it's not drop in. I would prefer someone who knows what they are doing over myself.

We most definitely do and we do fun things to them. Full rebuild on a Colt in process right now

Bought an older/80s SS Colt Commander from a really small shop in Dallas years ago where the smith had done the work. It was a trade in. Based on it I'd put in a match grade barrel and do some trigger work and I'd bet you'll be really impressed. Favorite shooting pistol I have.
