Total of 16 scorable points. Getting it officially measured tomorrow but estimate 21 inch inside spread.

San Patricio. Best buck we have seen/killed on our lease to date.

Have been hunting this land for 20+ years and only had two other deer with drops. One my uncle shot had a single 8.5 inch drop and the other was a single 4 inch drop. Seen plenty of deer with junk but not many this freaky.

To add...we have showed the closeups to some buddies who hunt/manage high fence ranches and they think he will gross somewhere in the 190 range.

I shot this guy back in '16 (same ranch) and he grossed 158 3/4.

Not my estimate! I still think in the 175-180 range. Pretty similar to my buck above but add another 10 for the two drops and another 10 for the kickers and you get about 180.

We will see, should have a more definitive timeline on the score tomorrow.

Buck was scored by three different people using the B&C scoring guide. Two of us (myself and another) scored him as a 158-3/4 and my dad scored him at 158-5/8, all non-typical

Low fence, but the deer are basically contained between farmland as far as you can see on all sides except one. The one side is an interstate highway that doesn't get much deer traffic

Most people don't score B&C any more. Safari Club has become the new normal.

Here is a better angle. Real heavy horned deer with pretty good length.

Did not know about safari club scoring. Going to look into it
