My M7060 will not lower the hitch when it has a load. Without a load, it goes up and down, no problem. With a heavy load (round bale), it gets stuck in the up position, and will eventually start to lower very slowly, making a clicking noise all the way down. Just needs some grease?

It is not the adjustment knob on the floor below the seat.

Our L6060 is having that issue.

Nevermind, I posted about the knob I read about. If you figure it out let me know. I haven't tried any fix. I got frustrated and left it hooked to the box blade.

do you have front end loader on it? If so any issues with it? Three point hitch runs off hydraulics. There will be others that chime in that are more experienced. There is a valve that controls the hydraulics. I would look there first.

Have you checked your hydraulic fluid level? Not going down seems odd to me to be a fluid levels issue but then again I'm just learning about hydraulics on a tractor.

Sticking valve under pressure? I'd have to look at an exploded view of the 3 point hydraulic and find out what type of hydraulic pump and control are used to determine how to could lift to max but not either disengage the valve and bypass under load. Is it single acting gravity/load lowering or double acting with hydraulic power in both directions?

Single acting. That's why its weird that heavy loads have trouble lowering. We have the QH20 Quick Hitch that stays on the tractor most of the time. You can raise and lower that thing all day long (maybe 50-60lbs?), but a bale of hay, or the disc harrow gets stuck in the raised position. No issue with the front-end loader.

I don't know Kubotas, but looking at their manual online, it shows a drop speed control for the 3-point, from fast to slow and lock out. Also, you have a position control and a draft control. If the draft control isn't at "insensitive", the position control is going to be wonky.
