I wish I would stumble onto 5-600 rounds of 223 at these prices.

Just put a dent in Navasota inventory. They had a few boxes of 9mm JHP and a bunch of 380 and 38 spl. Only had 1 box of some random 223 round, passed on that. FYI they still have some 40 & 45.

Wiped out of the Houston location I went to last night except for 38spl and aluminum cased 9. Their 45 acp was still regular price. Other ammo was marked down by less than a dollar. They said someone had come in earlier trying to buy out all the clearance ammo. They had a limit of 5 boxes at that store.

Bryan Walmart on Briarcrest has 4 boxes of the .40 Win 165g FMJ in the 200 round boxes left.

Yesterday the sporting goods counter emp told me that ammo prices ending in .00 indicate marked down prices.

From what I saw from the .00 ammo, the marked down prices weren't that great.

At Navasota the clearance stuff had yellow tags and was at least 50% off. Everything else had orange tags and was regular price. Dept manager told me they were only doing clearance on the specific types of ammo they will no longer carry - basically handgun and 223/556. Guess they are going to continue to carry rifle and shotgun ammo, all of that was still regular price.

The walmart by my office donated all the stuff to houston PD.

Walmart in Elgin still has boxes of 9mm, 40, 45 and .223 if anyone is in that area.

Also, for the Austin area, N Lamar and 35 is probably your best bet. I'm tapping out for this round.

Just checked another store. All prices marked as normal.
I asked the guy if he minded scanning some bar codes...
$5, $7, $11.
I bought 23 boxes...i left a little of each side.

Funny walmart note....manager says "you can only have 2 boxes per,caliber"
So i mix the same caliber but different manufacturers.
10 boxes of .40, 10 boxes of .45 and 3 boxes of .223

TLDR: have the person scan the box

Just cleaned out what they had in 380 at my Walmart. Everything else was gone.

The Briarcrest Location and several boxes of clearance .357 & 38 when I was there before noon. I'd call first before driving any distance though.

The Austin stores have a ton of 357 mag and some 357 sig.

Any one need 357 shot shells? The front one was 9mm and and the back 2 were 38/357. I only paid $5 a box.

Around here everything is 40-75% off depending on what it is. if any one has 7.65x54R, ammo is $5 It was the same for 39 but I got the last box.

Ended up finding some 9mm, 556, and 223 at the Austin location at Parmer/Lamar/I35. There was a guy in front of me and 2 guys behind me, so that stash is gone. We shared some of it amongst us.

The had a lot of .40, 357, and 38 left. They also had a lot of hollow point ammo left.

It was odd that the guy in the automotive department had a bunch of cases in the back in their storage room. When we got what the gun counter had, the assistant manager said: Check what he has in automotive also. He had the .223 and .556 stash that we broke up. Never would have known they had it if the guy hadn't mentioned it.

9mm was $9 per box of 100.

Sugar Land and Westpark/99 store cleared out. Got 450 rounds of .380 for $67

You likely saved me some time (and $$$).

Bryan Wal-Mart on Villa Maria had some TUL .380, a lot of .40 S&W, and several boxes of Remington brand .45 ACP (100 rounds for $25)

They also had 3-4 boxes of WInchester brand .32 ACP for $13 a box, which is half what it is last week.

Pickings are slim at the Walmart in El Campo

You can only buy 2 boxes a day

Just left this morning the department manager isn't in for saving the two boxes limit all that's left is 45 and 380

Waxahahie finally put theirs on.

223 is almost gone now.

45 is 4 box shorter as well. $50 well spent by me.

Wax also had 475 rds of federal 556 but it was $150 down from $174. That was a clearance tag.

Damn, I bought several of those same boxes for $89

Found Federal .223 FMJ 100 rounds for $25 and Federal .38 Special 158 grain 50 rounds for $15.

I'd like more 223 or 556 but I am sure all of it is gone by now.

Was in Fredricksburg this weekend. They had lots of .40 left, but nothing else pistol-wise. No 223 or 556 remained.
