If the bottom picture is more recent- how did all the shrubs get smaller?

Isn't it more logical that the top is more recent. They didn't tear anything down- you can't see the building because of perspective and the growth of the trees on the left. As the 3 shrubs in the middle of the building grew, one was removed and now there are 2. I have had shrubs die, or just not have room for them once fully grown. They added the gate at some point between the pics. The 3rd wire is coiled up in the first pic, at the top of the pole.

That's the easiest to explain of all -- they would have had to trim them.

If there is someone here who lives in or near Dripping Springs, they could possibly drive out to Frog Pond Lane and take a look to see if there is a gate there now and if there is a freshly poured concrete driveway going to the garage door. There's a nice cul-de-sac to turn around in.

The bottom photo imagery on Google Maps show it to have been taken in January. Also, the aerial view shows it to have been taken in 2019.

The bottom picture is definitely not more recent. Look at the concrete leading to the shop door in the top picture. It's newer than the parking area, and in the bottom picture there is no sign of demolition. Not to mention the fact that demolishing it would make zero sense.

Looking through historic images in Google Earth:

The main building in question was built between 2009 and 2013.
The building just to left was built between 2013 and 2015.
There is another building out of frame to the left that was built between 2015 and 2017.

Wait, I see it now . . . they took out the shrub closest to the shop door to put in the concrete. And the shrub on the far right as you look at the building is basically the same shape. So yeah, I can see how these are the same building.

It's very faint, but you can see in the top photo on the cedar posts where they've removed the two signs that were on the posts in the bottom photo and they've left behind some different coloring due to sun exposure.

It's. The. Same. Building. This is not even debatable (not directed at you but at some of our more contrarian posters).

There should be a building to the left, but it isn't there. However, this picture




shows a better separation than is apparent from the other picture. That separation is to the building the building to the other side. The corner of the building visible in the other pictures is just visible on the left of the building.

Go to Google Earth and roll back the date. The concrete in front of the roll up door or the gate on the right should be present at some previous time. They aren't.

The most recent pic on GE is from 8/2018 and there is no concrete/gate. No concrete/gate in 11/2017 either, nor 1/2017, nor 5/2015.

There is plenty of time in the last 16 months for the concrete and gate to have been added, though.

Who trims the circumference of shrubs?

The bigger shrubs ARE trimmed, notice how they are flat on top and mesh together well. The smaller shrubs are distanced so they will grow together. Which they eventually did.

The streetview picture was purportedly taken in January, so make that 10 months.

Top pic is newer.

*it is possible it is not "red signs" on the overhang's posts in the newer pic. It might just be the discoloration from where the white signs were in the older bottom pic.
**it is also possible that bush 5 (to the right of roll up door) is not removed, but grown in together with bush 6. Bush 1 is definitely gone, likely because of the new concrete.

I'll end this debate this evening.

I am taking a class on Frog Pond Lane in Dripping Springs tonight where this building is located.

I'll show up a little early, snap a few pics and see if MBUSA is around. I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing off his collection to a fellow Aggie!
