The font on the temp plate doesn't match the psuedo-blacked out plate of the same vehicle he posted in the Automotive board thread. That is solid work though, leave enough of the 505 showing that someone would think it is the same car.

Definite photoshop on the temp plate. Different color white behind the tag numbers than on the rest of the tag.

I agree! But this is getting weird even by MFBarnes standards, and that's saying something. He's claiming on the Auto board that he owns the warehouse in the background, and that it contains all his cars (Porsches, McClarens, etc).

Someone tracked down the warehouse, and it is owned by some med billing type company. Plus the exterior features don't match the interior of the photos he claims to be his auto workshop.

My question is: how did he get a photo of the same model of Mercedes in front of that warehouse?

You have to be following 2 threads on the auto board, plus this thread to understand my question, but it implies that the rabbit hole is very deep indeed.

I'm not a car nut, but the picture of the purple sports car on the other thread is definitely from the inside of a car dealership near 59/fondren in Houston. I've been in that place before. I'll see if I can find the dealership name.

hard to fake, but that is the parking garage on park and 75. it would be easy as hell to walk past 10 cars of that quality or nicer and claim ownership with the simple click of a photo. I didnt read all the thread so I dont know how much image validation took place previously.

Considering that the garage where the vehicles are stored are in Dripping Springs and Barton Creek, I find it odd someone would go to the trouble of leasing a Benz in Dallas when a similar one is most likely available in Austin.
