Yeah, does seem like a barnes thing to do, the favorite daily driver comment on the Mercedes post seems a little fishy. Plus the username, MBUSA Mark Barnes USA.
But isn't MBUSA really liberal? Or am I thinking of someone else?

That's what made me suspicious, plus the pics of the McClaren. I did a quick Google image search but it didn't turn up anything obvious. Just seemed very Barnesian to me.

MBUSA is the wife of a guy who owns a bunch of the calendar kiosks in malls. She's super liberal and has posted on politics forever. As others have said, used to post as DE88. If I remember right, she's not an Aggie, so I'm not sure why she even posts on texags.

I went back through some PMs circa 2013-2014. I originally thought it was the Winkleman's, but another poster found a photobucket acct that was posted by DE88 accidentally, then immediately deleted. The account belonged to Mark Schubert. His wife Jennifer was a VP for the calendar business, and a T-sip. I believe she was the one posting as DE88.
I haven't verified any of this, just posting what was discovered by some other posters about DE88 a few years back.

I recall several years ago, trying to figure DE88 out. Absolute snob and anal orifice poster. I recall that he bragged about hob-knobbing with celebrities, and my recollection was that he was outed as an employee of the Winklemens, and claiming a lot of their friends and parties as his own.
I've moved on, but I wish I'd kept some of it, I seem to recall that I was fairly certain of their identity.

It was 99% certain. The time frames match up when DE88 was banned, and started the MBUSA account. The whole Barnes-like thread on the auto board definitely makes me question that though.
one of the photos linked back to a mercedes benz forum post from a person who claims to own an auto detailing business. So take that for what its worth.
That would be crazy if Barnes was trolling the politics board for years as a super liberal wealthy housewife.
