Anyone shot the Hornady 110 grain ELD-X bullet in 25-06. I have been shooting the 110 grain accubond for years and love them but they have sometimes been hard to find. Midway has the 110 grain ELD-X on clearance now which makes me want to buy a few boxes but concerns me as well. Why on clearance?

Their sale price is more than the academy every day price. I rushed over when I saw clearance. I have had no issues with the SST. I have been considering the ELDX but I am not sure I want to try and fix what ain't broke.

I've used the Sierra 117 Gr boat tail for 30 years. Super bullet. Killed coyotes to elk with it

Not seeing the 110 grain .257 ELD-X listed on academy's website is it an in store only thing? Or any Hornady .257 bullets for that matter. Going to Tyler Academy tomorrow, will look.

my .270 loves the SSTs and I have had nothing to complain about the performance of that round.

My 6.5 preferred the Precision hunters over the SSTs but that was mainly because of the weight.

My 30.06 shoots the Hornady Whitetail rounds better than the SSTs.

All about the gun, but I am really happy with the performance of both the Precision Hunter and SSTs.

Sorry I thought you meant the load not the projectiles. My mistake.
