I think we need to cut the foam with the can removed so the weapon centers in the case without pushing the edges. Doesn't that can come off easily? Then the bipod separate and a spot for 2-3 magazines.

wow, it's tight in there; very little room left for cushion above the scope.

Yep, It damn near touches both sides on the top and bottom. I've been playing with different case configurations since I got home. I told the GF to bear with me, I'm gonna be a bit obsessed with this thing for the foreseeable future.

And it's damn sure not a blind friendly option.

I've thought about thermal quite a bit, just haven't committed to it yet. A buddy of mine is running an Armasight and it's sick. My original thoughts on this, beyond having a 1000yd gas gun, were taking shots at hogs and coyotes on some of the longer senderos at the ranch.

Good looking build!

Suggestion on case fit... swap the scope mount to a QD, that will allow you to remove the scope and put it below the hand guard when in the case. It will also make to ready for mounting a thermal if/when you go that route.

First 8 down the pipe after getting it on paper. Lower three were to check grouping after redneck bore sighting it into the berm. Then next 5 in the center. Slapping at the trigger a bit, so it's sloppier than it should be. But the first 8 rounds tells me this thing is gonna be a hammer.
