What would you recommend giving that isn't doused in perfume or comes from freaking Kendra Scott? Looking for outdoor things that you wouldn't normally buy on your own but would be a nice to have. Knives, flashlights, etc.

Nice bottle of Scotch if alcohol is an option. Probably non-peated for more universal appeal (I love my peat monsters, but many don't...especially those new to Scotch). In that price range I'd probably go with Aberlour 12-year.

I've been had a Lawn and Garden, but the 3.0s are the bomb. Did away with the annoying every shot safety, they shoot larger loads, the hopper lid is more robust, and more.

I've been carrying and using the ever living hell out of the same PT2L for 9 years come year's end. Great light. Highly recommend.

For the money, I'd still recommend it if it had **** the bed and died five years ago. Still going strong.

A lot of people use White Elephant as a catch all when they should be using other things like Chinese Christmas or other gift exchange names.

At $50-$100 price limits, I'm certainly not thinking he means junk gifts that no one really wants.

The in-laws actually do call in Chinese Christmas, not sure why I said white elephant. $50-100 would be a bit steep for a gag gift.

I agree with your price point, but I'd be getting something like the bug-a-salt.

"White elephant" by definition, regardless of price, is like a flea market thing.

I think some people are going to be REALLY disappointed if they are buying nice legit gifts, and end up getting a gag gift.

For $50-100... Everything a good Christmas party needs. A bottle of Tito's, a bunch of Nerf guns, and a remote controlled fart machine.

I'd get something useful. Knife set. Dehydrator. Etc.

A good head light should fall in that range. I find a headlight with an elastic strap well worth keeping around.

Do what a classmate in grad school did. He packed a nice bottle of booze in a box of adult diapers. Hilarity ensued. On the last round, he ended up with it and showed off the actual contents. The next year every box got opened - one guy ended up with nothing more than a case of adult diapers. Hilarity ensued again.

A good chefs knife and cutting board can be had. I like a quality knife in the kitchen. Any Hunter or cook would appreciate it.
