Have asked and been kindly answered many questions about our upcoming trip to Port Mansfield to fish the LLM, hopefully last question. In Mid October best fly colors and/or pattern. Have tied a dozen each of in Shrimp and White of EPs Ghost Shrimp and Spawning Shrimp, as well as some of my own Swimming Shrimp in Steve Farrar Red fish fiber. Just wondering, here in Rockport in the fall we go to darker colors, black, purple, olive. What works well/best in LLM this time of year?

I haven't spent much time in the LLM since I picked up the buggy whip, but from my lure chunking childhood I can highly recommend a gold spoon.

With the clearer water down there, I'd throw more whites with natural accents and probably throw extra flash on em.

I'm a fan of deceivers and kwans.

Olive and white with a little flash deceiver or clouser.

A red and gold spoon fly is hard to beat for redfish
