Casual dove hunter here that usually either borrows bird gear or just carries shells that are needed.

Any recommendations for cool gear for a dove hunt next year in Argentina? Wanted to buy some stuff for the guys that are going and especially the one organizing.

Shoulder pads. Gel inserts, pads over shirts, etc..

Thin gloves. The guns get hot and a gloves will help save a blister.

Medical tape for the fingers. Especially if they are loading their own gun. I tape up my thumb and first two fingers

Some type of shell bag. I carry a leather one that says H & H 2000 doves that I got many years ago. Any type of skeet, shooting sports bag works.

I brought all that stuff the previous poster mentioned. The only thing for sure I would get is the Pad for your shoulder. The rest depends on your bird boy. The guns get hot but when the doves are hot your are trading guns depending on how many they bring for you so it was a non issue for me. I think out of the 1000s that I shot I loaded my gun maybe 50 times, when I let the bird boy listen to a soccer game while I was hunting. They brought chairs and bullets for me so the bullet bag is a non issue.

Batting gloves work well

JMM is spot on.

I barely used the pad, we shot Beretta 20 gauge and my shoulder was fine. If you are shooting 12 or benelli then you will need the pad. Gloves because the hot barrel will burn you. And you will smile.

We went with Pointer Outfitters. Great folks.

I'd bring a shotgun

For Argentina? Cash. The only gear youll need is lots and lots of cash for shells. Outfitter will have all the other stuff.

"The ingredients are dove breast, onion, and bell pepper. We usually use green, yellow and red bell pepers. We dice the dove breast and wrap it in smoked bacon, and we also dice all the vegetables. Then, you put them in the skewers and cook them in the grill, I should say here something like "high temperature" but remember that if you want to do them in the truly Argentine way, you wont use a gas grill but real wood and coal. When it's cooked, we pour some chimichurri over them and voila! Note on the chimichurri: If you were here hunting with us, chances are you did not leave this country without the chimichurri recipe.
