I need more information. Where is this? If close to me: then he definitely needs another couple years. If you're in the next county, or high fenced: he's good eating age.

My first thought was 4 but you guys have me thinking 3. I need to see him out of velvet to see if I had him on camera last year. I have been making a big effort over the last few years to not shoot anything under 5.

I did upgrade the corn feeder. Needed the extra capacity and the stand and fill is nice. The other was hay. Haven't found a bulk cotton seed supplier close enough to the lease yet. And yes, it's still there. Only use that during season though.

Speer Ag has cottonseed in 50lb bags--numerous feed stores carrying it now. I used last year and will be ordering more. They've got a fortified cottonseed as well.
