So it's that time of year and I want to get some new pants. I've got some camo jjeans and the like for hunting but looking for something lightweight but can handle walking through cut sunflower fields. What are y'all liking these days?

Lol posted that expecting some quality ob responses and y'all didn't disappoint. No way I'm wearing shorts my legs would get destroyed. My camo jeans are my usual but swamp ass is legit after you've been walking around in the heat. Which reminds me to make sure I pack the gold bond

Frisco ... this did not go exactly as planned some funny stuff. In my experience, the best shooters gear up the least bc they know they will not be out there that long and they drop the birds in easy to find spots. These are the first to limit out. They typically wear muted shorts, short sleeve camo or khaki shirt and a hiking shoe.
Even though its hot i prefer to cover up my legs and arms with lightweight pants and shirts in tan or light green. Im using a Lt weight kuhl hiking pant (with some stretch) and a Simms lt wt fishing shirt up top. I like the full coverage for sun, bug and brush protection. I also like a slip on boot ... no laces ... to keep the stickers in the field. You will definitely be harder to spot by dove if you are in camo.
